The Role: Bunker Trader
Based in the London office, you will be responsible for the active procurement and sale of marine fuels. You will act as a strategic partner to maritime clients, identifying market trends and leveraging the company’s robust global supply network to deliver efficient fuel and credit-based solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Trading & Sales: Actively engage in the procurement and sale of marine fuels, managing a diverse portfolio of international shipping clients.
- Account Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with shipowners, operators, and global suppliers.
- Strategy Development: Identify and analyze market trends in commodity and fuel trading to devise and implement effective trading strategies.
- Negotiation: Negotiate optimal commercial terms and contracts while ensuring compliance with global maritime industry regulations.
- Financial Oversight: Monitor credit and financial transactions, utilizing the company’s strong financial backing to facilitate global trade.
Candidate Profile
- Experience: Proven experience in oil trading, fuel procurement, or the marine fuel sector.
- Market Knowledge: A deep understanding of commodity markets and the ability to apply market and regulatory frameworks.
- Skills: Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills. You must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field is preferred.
- Maritime Background: Prior experience or knowledge of the shipping industry is highly advantageous.
