The Opportunity: Bunker Trader – Singapore
We are looking for a trader who thrives at the intersection of strategy and execution. Joining our dynamic Singapore desk, you will manage the full trading lifecycle, from strategic sourcing to closing high-value deals.

Key Responsibilities
- Relationship Management: Cultivate and scale high-value partnerships with shipowners, operators, charterers, and oil majors to ensure long-term loyalty and repeat business.
- Strategic Trading: Source, negotiate, and execute bunker fuel transactions with precision, professionalism, and a focus on margin optimization.
- Business Development: Proactively identify market gaps and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company’s global footprint.
- Market Intelligence: Deliver actionable insights on fuel pricing trends, port developments, and regulatory shifts (IMO/MPA) to inform internal strategy.
- Operational Excellence: Liaise with operations teams to ensure seamless, compliant fuel delivery and timely financial settlements.
- Risk Mitigation: Monitor trade-related risks and ensure 100% adherence to internal controls and international maritime regulations.
Candidate Profile
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Maritime Studies, Economics, Business, Finance, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years of proven success in bunker or marine fuels trading.
- Network: An established book of business or a robust network of suppliers and clients across Asia and global markets is highly advantageous.
