About the Role: Trader, LNG & Natural Gas
As a Trader, you will join an eight-member LNG and Natural Gas team, actively managing assigned NG/LNG portfolios, pricing, and trading toward customers, counterparties, and trading venues. You will contribute to process improvements, product development, and value chain optimization while supporting Gasum’s sustainability goals.
This role requires an agile, collaborative mindset, the ability to thrive under pressure, and a proactive approach to market opportunities and risk management.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute trades with competitive speed, accuracy, and pricing
- Conduct market analysis of natural gas and LNG sectors
- Manage financial positions and risk for assigned portfolios
- Participate in IT system development to improve trading efficiency
- Collaborate actively with internal Gasum units and stakeholders

Candidate Profile
- University degree (MSc/MBA or equivalent)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in trading, portfolio management, or related energy/commodity markets
- Experience with large-scale trading systems and market operations
- Strong understanding of risk management and hedging strategies
- Analytical, numerate, and hands-on approach to problem-solving
- Excellent communication skills for internal and external collaboration
- Fluent in English; additional Nordic languages are a plus
- Ability to handle multiple priorities under pressure with a positive mindset
