The Role: Bunker Trader – Dubai, UAE
Based in the dynamic Dubai office, the Bunker Trader is responsible for developing and expanding a personal portfolio of customers while maintaining robust relationships with global suppliers and industry partners.
The role requires both commercial expertise and an active industry network to support Malik Supply’s continued expansion across Middle Eastern and international shipping corridors. The trader will provide clients with deep market insights, secure profitable deals, and ensure smooth operational execution in partnership with back-office and logistics teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Portfolio Development: Identify new commercial opportunities, build long-term relationships, and actively expand a personal bunker trading portfolio.
- Trade Execution: Negotiate spot and contract bunker transactions, securing profitable deals while balancing risk and margin targets.
- Market Insights: Provide vessel operators, charterers, and partners with expert market intelligence, pricing trends, and tailored fuel solutions.
- Operational Coordination: Partner closely with suppliers, internal operators, and credit teams to ensure seamless delivery execution and high client satisfaction.

- Experience: Minimum 2 years of proven professional experience within bunker trading or marine fuel sales.
