The Anna Cosulich is set to play a pivotal role in advancing sustainable marine energy, solidifying Fratelli Cosulich’s leadership in the global bunkering sector.

The ceremony, which marks a significant achievement in the company’s ongoing commitment to sustainable maritime energy solutions, took place at Taizhou Maple Leaf Shipyard in China, with Diana Mok, Managing Director of Fratelli Cosulich Bunkers (S) Pte Ltd., in attendance. Diana Mok’s presence underscores the importance of this milestone as Fratelli Cosulich continues to lead the way in providing cleaner and more efficient marine fuel solutions.

At the same shipyard, Fratelli Cosulich Marine Energy is also building another innovative vessel, Maya Cosulich, an IMO II bunker tanker that will be powered by methanol dual-fuel technology. These two vessels are part of a forward-thinking initiative to modernize the company’s fleet and support the maritime industry’s transition toward cleaner energy alternatives.

A New Era in Bunkering: The Anna Cosulich

The Anna Cosulich, with a deadweight tonnage (DWT) of 7,999, is the first in a series of four next-generation bunker tankers designed to facilitate the shift toward alternative fuels in maritime operations. As a methanol-ready vessel, Anna Cosulich is built to the highest environmental and operational standards, underscoring Fratelli Cosulich Marine Energy’s commitment to decarbonization and providing sustainable fuel alternatives.

Set to be delivered in the first quarter of 2026, the Anna Cosulich will be equipped with two mass flow meters, MarineLINE coating, and all necessary equipment for methanol bunkering, in full compliance with local regulations. This advanced vessel will support Fratelli Cosulich Marine Energy’s ongoing mission to offer flexible and sustainable bunkering solutions to customers as the maritime industry navigates its transition to cleaner fuels.
