The collaboration aims to transform raw port data into auditable Scope 1–3 emissions reports, effectively removing the burden of manual data entry for ports and shipping lines.
Bridging the Data Gap: From Port Calls to Compliance
The partnership centers on the integration of Awake.AI’s Emission Monitor into Tidalis’ established Vessel Traffic Services (VTS) and Port Management Systems (PMS). By leveraging the massive amounts of real-time data already managed by Tidalis, including vessel movements, fueling, cargo handling, and shore power usage, the combined system generates automated, high-fidelity emissions profiles.
For ports and terminals, this is not just about environmental stewardship; it is about regulatory survival. With the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and other international frameworks coming into force, the ability to provide “reliable and auditable” data is becoming a commercial necessity.
