This significant development follows Tumpuan Megah’s certification by the International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC EU) scheme.
This breakthrough aligns with the maritime industry’s ongoing efforts to expedite its transition to low-carbon alternative fuels, specifically sustainable biofuels, in line with the global decarbonization agenda.
Tumpuan Megah’s ISCC EU certification marks a pivotal milestone, as it positions the company as the first Malaysian industry player to be recognized as a biofuel supplier and trader by the ISCC EU. This achievement underscores the company’s commitment to reducing shipping’s carbon footprint and leading sustainability initiatives within the region.
