The Role: Bunker Trader — Dubai
As a Bunker Trader, you will join a newly formed but highly experienced team based in Jumeirah Lake Towers, Dubai. This role offers a unique chance to directly contribute to Malik’s regional growth strategy across the Middle East, Asia, and Africa.
You will be part of a professional, collaborative trading environment with structured onboarding and continuous support to help you thrive.
Key Responsibilities
- Bunker Operations: Coordinate with local ports, suppliers, and agents to ensure seamless and timely bunker deliveries.
- Client Management: Build and manage a portfolio of new and existing clients, understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions.
- Sales & Negotiation: Negotiate pricing, close deals, and maintain high customer satisfaction throughout the sales cycle.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities across assigned regions to support long-term growth.
Candidate Profile
Professional Qualifications & Experience:
- At least 2 years of bunker trading experience, ideally with exposure to Middle Eastern, Asian, or African markets.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic or an Asian language is a strong advantage.
- Solid understanding of marine fuels and supply chain dynamics.
- Must be eligible to work in the UAE, or willing to handle visa/relocation logistics independently.
