This strategic move ensures the seamless continuation and top-notch service that clients have come to rely on. The experienced team from Delta Energy ARA Physical will transition smoothly into the new entity, retaining all industry certifications and licenses. Utilizing two exclusively time-chartered barges, the team will continue to deliver the exceptional service they have maintained for years.
This transition has been meticulously coordinated and aligned with the two shipping groups, Vertom BV and Delta Corp Holdings, guaranteeing a smooth and efficient integration of services.
Joe Tierney, Head of Trading, along with his team, who collectively boast over 100 years of experience in the ARA region bunker market, will continue their operations from their established Rotterdam office, with just a change in the entity structure. Additionally, the newly formed VME will work closely with Delta Energy, capitalizing on the many synergies between both groups.
The ARA (Amsterdam-Rotterdam-Antwerp) region holds immense significance in the global bunkering landscape, serving as one of the world’s largest bunkering hubs. Anchored by the bustling ports of Amsterdam, Rotterdam, and Antwerp, this strategic area facilitates the bunkering of millions of tons of marine fuels annually.
