The Role: Trader – Panama City
Monjasa is looking for a relationship-oriented professional with a strong sales mindset to support its physical supply operations in Panama. The role is designed for a proactive individual who can comfortably handle the high-velocity demands of bunker trading, from initial price negotiations to final delivery coordination.
Working directly on the front lines of the Panama Canal’s shipping lanes, the new Trader will receive active support and mentorship from experienced desks. The role emphasizes full commercial ownership, enabling the successful candidate to manage both customer and supplier relationships, capture emerging market opportunities, and independently scale their trading portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Portfolio Management: Actively develop, nurture, and manage strong long-term relationships with shipowners, charterers, and local suppliers.
