Headquartered in Urk, the new venture bridges the gap between hardware and software, integrating DBMatic’s proven expertise in onboard hardware and data infrastructure with Weforsea Shipping’s advanced software and digitalisation capabilities.

The creation of MariControl stems from years of close cooperation, during which both companies frequently found themselves working on different segments of the same vessel data chain.

The technology is already battle-tested: combined DBMatic and Weforsea technology is currently installed on more than 250 vessels.
