In an exciting development in the bunkering industry, leading provider of marine fuels and bunker supply solutions Hoyer Marine GmbH is set to bolster its offerings with the construction of a cutting-edge bunker station at the Johannisbollwerk in Hamburg. The project, undertaken by the renowned Hitzler shipyard, will see the installation of a 30-meter-long, 8-meter-wide platform, slated for completion before the year’s end.

This new facility will feature four tanks, each capable of holding 90 m³, facilitating the flexible provision of innovative fuels. Additionally, the platform will house a dedicated hall for the storage and dispensing of lubricating greases, oils, and related products. Designed to seamlessly integrate into the modern port landscape, the station is primed for future sustainability initiatives, including solar energy utilization and green roofing.

The planning for this state-of-the-art venture commenced in spring 2023 in collaboration with GUSPAF GmbH, prior to the contract awarded to Hitzler Werft at the onset of 2024.
