Everllence has shipped the first engine carrying its new branding from its Augsburg plant, marking a major milestone in the company’s transition from MAN Energy Solutions following its 2025 rebranding. The rollout required extensive manufacturing and supply-chain modifications involving thousands of branded components, as Everllence advances its broader decarbonisation-focused strategy across shipping, energy, and industrial sectors.
Augsburg | April 21, 2026 – Everllence has reached a significant milestone in its global rebranding transformation after the first engine carrying the Everllence name officially departed the company’s Augsburg manufacturing plant in Germany.
The rollout marks one of the most visible product-level transitions since the company rebranded from MAN Energy Solutions on 4 June 2025, symbolising the integration of the Everllence identity directly into manufacturing operations, supply-chain systems, and industrial production processes.
According to the company, all major Everllence locations worldwide have now produced their first product under the new brand identity, nearly a year after the renaming initiative was launched.
Rebranding Moves from Corporate Identity to Physical Production
While the rebranding process initially focused on corporate identity, communications, and strategic positioning, the departure of the first Everllence-badged engine signals the transition into full industrial implementation.
The project required large-scale coordination across engineering, procurement, production, branding, and supply-chain operations, with thousands of individual components needing redesign or modification to reflect the new identity.
Martin Oetjen, Chief Operating Officer at Everllence, said the milestone represents more than a simple logo replacement.
“This milestone is more than a new logo on an engine, rather it shows how we are transferring our new identity into our daily work and onto our products,” Oetjen said. “A significant effort in manufacturing and across the supply chain lies behind this as thousands of components carry our logo – whether cast, engraved or laser-marked.”
Thousands of Components Required Reconfiguration
Everllence said the branding transition involved extensive technical and operational adjustments throughout the manufacturing process.
The company introduced:
- New material numbers for branded components
- Modified production workstations for engraving and laser marking
- Reconfigured casting processes for visible logo integration
- Redesigned engineering components carrying external branding
To manage the transition efficiently, Everllence implemented a digital tracking process to identify and monitor all branded parts moving through the global supply chain.
Engineering teams also redesigned highly visible engine components to ensure consistency across the new branding architecture.
The company said close coordination between procurement schedules, production lead-times, and manufacturing planning was critical to avoiding delivery disruptions during the rollout process.
Augsburg Plant Remains Central to Everllence’s Industrial Strategy
The Augsburg facility continues to serve as a strategic pillar within Everllence’s global production network and remains one of the company’s most important engine manufacturing sites.
The plant has long been associated with large-engine engineering expertise and continues to play a central role in the company’s future propulsion and decarbonisation strategy.
Video released by the company show a 20V32/44CR engine carrying the new Everllence branding during packing operations at the Augsburg heavy-load centre.
Rebranding Tied to ‘Moving Big Things to Zero’ Strategy
Everllence said the production transition forms part of its broader corporate strategy, “Moving big things to zero,” which focuses on reducing emissions across hard-to-abate sectors including shipping, power generation, and heavy industry.
The company’s portfolio now spans:
- Marine propulsion systems
- Climate-neutral fuel engines
- Retrofit technologies
- Carbon capture systems
- Hydrogen technologies
- Industrial-scale heat pumps
Through its subsidiary Quest One, Everllence also supports green hydrogen production initiatives aimed at scaling future low-carbon fuel ecosystems.
Everllence Strategic Shift Beyond Traditional Engine Manufacturing
The rebranding from MAN Energy Solutions to Everllence reflects a broader strategic repositioning beyond conventional engine manufacturing toward integrated decarbonisation and energy-transition technologies.
Industry observers view the transition as part of a wider trend among marine and industrial engineering companies seeking to align corporate identity more closely with low-carbon technologies, alternative fuels, and sustainability-driven industrial solutions.
By embedding the Everllence identity directly into physical products and manufacturing systems, the company is signalling a long-term commitment to its transformed industrial strategy.
Global Presence and Service Network
Everllence operates across more than 140 global locations with approximately 15,000 employees worldwide. Its after-sales division, Everllence PrimeServ, provides lifecycle support, maintenance, spare parts, and technical services for marine and industrial customers globally.
The company continues to position itself as a major player in propulsion systems, emissions reduction technologies, and industrial decarbonisation infrastructure across the maritime and energy sectors.
