Avenir LNG Limited, a leading midstream LNG and BioLNG company, has signed a significant Time Charter Party (TCP) agreement with LNG Shipping S.p.A., a subsidiary of Eni S.p.A. This agreement secures the multi-year charter of Avenir’s 7,500 cubic meter LNG bunker vessel, the Avenir Aspiration, starting from its delivery in Europe in 2025.
This partnership reinforces Avenir LNG’s position as a leading provider of modern LNG bunker vessels, both as an owner and operator. The company has been actively expanding its chartering portfolio, having successfully concluded four new term charter agreements in the past year across its fleet of five operational vessels, with two more under construction.
The deal boosts Avenir’s third-party charter revenue backlog, which now exceeds $285 million, securing long-term, sustainable cash flow for the group and its shareholders over the next decade.
The Avenir Aspiration currently operates alongside the Avenir Ascension in Northwest Europe, providing small-scale LNG supply and ship-to-ship bunkering services under Avenir’s trading division, Avenir Supply and Trading.
Jonathan Quinn, Managing Director of Avenir LNG, commented, “We are excited to be working with Eni to support their expansion into the LNG bunker market. This transaction further solidifies Avenir as the trusted partner for modern and efficient small-scale LNG vessels. We look forward to embarking on this long-term relationship with Eni and continuing to uphold the highest safety and operational standards for which Avenir is known.”
