Düsseldorf, Germany | October 6, 2025 – German energy giant Uniper and Spanish renewable developer Five Bioenergy have inked a landmark seven-year biomethane purchase agreement, marking a major milestone in Europe’s clean energy transition. The deal covers biomethane sourced from three of Spain’s largest biomethane plants located in Murcia, with deliveries scheduled to commence in early 2027.
