Seaside LNG, a leading provider of LNG production, LNG bunkering, and maritime transportation logistics, has announced a major milestone for its LNG bunkering operations. The Clean Everglades, one of the company’s most advanced LNG bunkering vessels, completed its 100th delivery on March 4, 2025, to the Tote Isla Bella. This significant achievement marks a pivotal moment in Seaside LNG’s journey toward establishing a more resilient and sustainable LNG supply chain.

The successful delivery reflects not only the dedication and hard work of the entire Seaside LNG team but also the company’s continuous commitment to advancing marine fueling solutions. This 100th LNG delivery is part of Seaside LNG’s broader effort to shape the future of LNG as a cleaner, more efficient fuel alternative for the maritime industry.

Seaside LNG’s operations now boast over 665 bunkering operations and an impressive total of 250 million gallons of LNG delivered across key global markets. This achievement highlights the company’s ongoing leadership in the LNG industry and its vital role in supporting the transition to low-carbon and eventually zero-carbon energy solutions.

Leading the LNG Bunkering Industry

Seaside LNG is the only platform in North America offering fully integrated shoreside liquefaction, LNG storage, and Jones Act-compliant bunkering capabilities. These operations combine to create a comprehensive, seamless LNG production and delivery service, ensuring high performance and low-carbon output across a range of maritime sectors.

The company operates through its subsidiary Polaris New Energy (PNE), which is responsible for providing flexible marine transportation and bunkering solutions for liquefied natural gas along the Atlantic Coast and beyond. With the largest LNG bunkering fleet in the United States, PNE has completed over 400 LNG deliveries, providing a critical service to a wide array of customers in the maritime industry.

State-of-the-Art Infrastructure

At the heart of Seaside LNG’s operations is the JAX LNG terminal, a joint venture between Seaside LNG and Pivotal LNG. Located in Jacksonville, Florida, JAX LNG is the first small-scale shoreside LNG facility in the U.S. designed to handle both marine and truck LNG fueling. With a production capacity of 360,000 gallons per day and the ability to store up to 4 million gallons of LNG, JAX LNG plays a critical role in ensuring a steady supply of fuel for both maritime and transportation industries.

In addition to its liquefaction and storage capabilities, JAX LNG features advanced infrastructure, including dual truck loading bays and a state-of-the-art loading pier for LNG transfers to barges. This facility has been in operation since 2018 and continues to be a cornerstone of Seaside LNG’s efforts to support cleaner fuel alternatives.

Safety at the Forefront

Seaside LNG prioritizes safety across all operations, implementing rigorous third-party safety audits and maintaining high standards for shipboard safety. Each of its vessels is equipped with state-of-the-art cryogenic systems for safe LNG transfer, remote shutoff switches, and comprehensive fire safety measures. These systems, coupled with highly trained and certified crews, ensure that LNG bunkering operations are conducted with the utmost safety and reliability.

A Vision for a Sustainable Future

Seaside LNG is deeply committed to advancing the use of LNG as a cleaner, more sustainable fuel for the maritime industry.
