Bunker Trader – Key Accounts
The company is currently seeking a dynamic individual to spearhead its trading operations as bunker trader – Key Accounts in London, focusing on the purchase and sale of marine fuel and associated products. The primary objective is to cultivate enduring and profitable relationships with a diverse portfolio of counterparties while maintaining a vigilant stance on credit risk and payment performance. This role demands a candidate with prior trading experience, ideally within the bunker sector or maritime industry, coupled with exceptional communication and organizational prowess.
Key Responsibilities
- Market proactively to new & existing customers, building relationships to increase enquiries and sell Peninsula’s products & services.
- Communicate openly with other traders to share market intelligence and support international colleagues.
- Analyze market conditions, identify counterparty needs, negotiate deals, and handle sales administration.
- Proactively manage credit risk, chase late payments, minimize claim costs, and assess counterparty financial strength.
- Expand the Company’s business portfolio by leveraging the Group’s global network and maximizing sales opportunities.
