Monaco | July 10, 2026 – NatPower Marine has signed a definitive strategic agreement to acquire the Aqua superPower international charging network from ATV Power, uniting Europe’s largest marine e-mobility network with a multi-gigawatt energy infrastructure heavyweight.
The transaction, unveiled at the Monaco Energy Boat Challenge, marks a structural shift in the marine electrification landscape. By absorbing Aqua superPower’s footprint, NatPower Marine is transitioning from an infrastructure developer into an international operational platform capable of scaling shore power and charging solutions from recreational marinas to heavy commercial shipping hubs.
Scale Meets Execution
The acquisition instantly hands NatPower Marine an established operational network of more than 80 ports and marinas across Europe and North America. The current footprint spans critical yachting and commercial corridors, including the French and Italian Rivieras, Venice, Genoa, the UK South Coast, the Port of Barcelona, and major US maritime hubs such as San Francisco Bay, San Diego, and Lake Michigan.
Historically, the primary bottleneck in maritime decarbonisation has shifted away from technology and capital toward execution. Deploying marine charging infrastructure requires navigating fragmented grid access, securing complex port permits, ensuring localized energy supply, and managing long-term capital allocation.
