Teaming up with Caronte & Tourist S.p.A., Molgas coordinated a groundbreaking truck-to-ship bunkering operation on April 11th at the Port of Trapani.

This operation signifies Molgas entry into LNG bunkering operations in Italy with a historic achievement: the inaugural LNG bunkering in Sicily. The event underscores Molgas firm dedication to providing sustainable solutions in maritime refueling, a pivotal step in the shipping industry’s transition towards cleaner energy sources.

In collaboration with Caronte & Tourist S.p.A., the bunkering operation involved the seamless transfer of LNG from a truck to the vessel NEREA, facilitated by Molgas. This milestone highlights Molgas commitment to expanding its LNG bunkering business, following successful launch of LNG bunker supply in Germany.
