Joining a seasoned bunker traders team
As a Bunker Trader Trainee at Malik, you’ll integrate into a well-established trading team boasting extensive experience and a genuine passion for bunker trading. Upon joining us, you’ll receive comprehensive industry training. A mentor from our trading team will guide your learning journey, offering invaluable insights. Your responsibilities will encompass grasping market dynamics, nurturing relationships, and broadening sourcing channels.
Your role will involve
- Liaising with local ports and supply agents to facilitate deliveries
- Providing top-notch service to clients and suppliers, aligning with our service ethos
- Cultivating new accounts and nurturing existing customer relationships
- Addressing customer needs, negotiating prices, and finalizing agreements
The ideal candidate
As our newest Bunker Trader Trainee, you ideally possess an HHX diploma or a similar business education. Alternatively, a background in business or sales, particularly within the shipping industry, would be advantageous but not mandatory. Above all, a flair for sales and a tenacious drive to succeed are essential.
