Are you passionate about strategic sales and can you create and retain a strong relationship to global main customers? Do you want to play a key role in strategically developing KPI Ocean Connect Global Accounts’ business?

As a Key Account Manager, you will become part of a successful and growing key account team in our office in London. Furthermore, working in KPI Ocean Connect Global Accounts is a team effort across the group, meaning you will be working together with the whole group worldwide to service our clients best possible.

Become part of a strong and growing team

As Key Account Manager you will be responsible for the development and growth of existing large customers and new potential key customers. Through full account responsibility you are the driving and executing force in the journey to ensure the success of your customers through a mutually fruitful commercial collaboration.

You will continuously develop the partnership in line with the company’s and the customers’ business strategy and to their satisfaction.

More specifically your area of responsibility includes:

  • Contract management
  • Manage a portfolio of accounts personally
  • Ensure that business is done in compliance with company rules and credit lines
  • Support the group’s strategy and initiatives

Strong people skills and business acumen

To succeed in this position, we expect that you put subject matter expertise into play in a service-oriented way and create visible and measurable value to the customers’ business. You take the lead on the sales initiative and are looking for results through strong business acumen.

Furthermore, we expect that you possess strong operational expertise in contract management. You are a strong negotiator as well as advisor and can create favorable solutions by thinking outside the box. Furthermore, you are an ambitious, energetic, and detail-oriented sales professional with proven sales skills.

Additionally, you have experience with account planning from start to finish, flair for business development and innovativeness. You are outgoing and excellent in building close relationships with both customers and colleagues across brands, as our ability to communicate and cooperate with many stakeholders, both internally and externally, will be vital in this role.

Last but not least, it is important that you are a great team player as we work as a team – both internally in the Global Accounts team as well as with the rest of the group.

We expect you to have a minimum of 3 years’ relevant work experience within the industry.
