Fratelli Cosulich Group achieved a significant milestone with the delivery and naming ceremony of their second LNG Bunker Vessel, Paolina Cosulich. This momentous event underscores the company’s commitment to innovation and excellence in the marine energy sector.

The newly christened LNG bunker vessel, Paolina Cosulich, is an impressive vessel boasting a cargo capacity of 8,200 cubic meters. Designed to meet the evolving needs of the maritime industry, it is well-suited for bunkering operations and intricate tasks such as cooldowns and gas-ups for various vessel types. Equipped with Warstila’s advanced Dual Fuel technology, Paolina Cosulich is primed to deliver exceptional performance and efficiency.

In addition to its LNG capabilities, Paolina Cosulich is equipped to provide 500 metric tons of Marine Gas Oil (MGO), offering versatility to accommodate diverse fuel requirements. This multifaceted approach underscores Fratelli Cosulich Group’s commitment to providing comprehensive solutions to its clients.

On February 27th the LNG Bunker Vessel Paolina Cosulich set sail from the Nantong CIMC SOE shipyard. This achievement reflects the dedication and expertise of the Fratelli Cosulich team and underscores the company’s position as a leader in the marine energy industry. The delivery of Paolina Cosulich marks a significant step forward in the company’s ongoing commitment to innovation and sustainability.

Earlier in January, Fratelli Cosulich had signed a significant two-year charter agreement for its state-of-the-art LNG bunker barge, Paolina Cosulich, with PETCO Trading Labuan Company Ltd (PTLCL), the trading arm of PETRONAS, a global Malaysian energy company. Operated under PTLCL, a major player in global energy solutions with a network spanning Southeast Asia, Japan, the Middle East, and South Africa, Paolina Cosulich is poised to meet the increasing demand for LNG as a bunker fuel in the Straits.
