The refueling operation was completed at Isla Tropicale in Roatán, Honduras, where Carnival Cruise Line’s LNG-powered flagship, Carnival Jubilee, refueled using an innovative, mobile LNG fueling solution.
The operation establishes a critical new cryogenic fueling node along key Western Caribbean cruise tracks, allowing LNG-capable vessels to replenish fuel reserves with zero route deviation. The milestone was achieved via close public-private coordination between Carnival Corporation, local port operators, and the Honduran government.
