This consolidation is intended to create “tighter cohesion” between crewing and training, ensuring that the 39,000 seafarers under the Anglo-Eastern banner meet the increasingly complex technical and safety demands of modern shipping.

The event featured Hon. Hans Leo J. Cacdac, Secretary of the Philippines’ Department of Migrant Workers (DMW), represented by Atty. Jerome T. Pampolina. The government’s presence underscored Anglo-Eastern’s nearly 40-year legacy in the region, a tenure recently honored with the Presidential Award of Excellence, the nation’s highest maritime distinction.
