Global marine energy leader, Peninsula, achieves another milestone with the successful LNG bunkering of MSC Virginia, the vessel of Switzerland-based Mediterranean Shipping Company S.A. The operation was completed at Gibraltar anchorage.
Peninsula, a prominent independent global supplier of marine energy, has announced the successful completion of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) bunkering for the MSC Virginia, a vessel operated by the Mediterranean Shipping Company S.A (MSC). The operation was carried out at the Gibraltar anchorage, marking a significant advancement in Peninsula’s LNG bunkering business.
The achievement was made possible through the utilization of Peninsula’s advanced 12,500m³ LNG bunker supply vessel, Levante LNG, highlighting the company’s commitment to physical LNG bunker supply. The successful completion of the bunkering operation underscores Peninsula’s strategic move in supporting the maritime industry’s transition towards cleaner and more sustainable energy sources.
