Sales Executive, Marine Fuel
Location: Singapore, Singapore

Responsibilities

The Sales Executive, Marine Fuel will manage customer transactions for fuel purchases from World Fuel Services (WFS). This role includes the development of new customer accounts and the expansion of business with existing clients.

Core Duties and Responsibilities Include

  • Customer Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers, acting as a reliable point of contact for inquiries and transactions.
  • Market Analysis & Business Development:
    • Monitor and analyze relevant market information to identify new business opportunities, and stay updated with industry trends.
    • Develop and implement action plans to secure new business and expand existing accounts.
  • Credit & Financial Stability:
    • Monitor customer use of credit lines, collaborating with the credit control team to ensure financial stability and mitigate risks.
  • Operational & Logistical Support:
    • Provide operational support, including coordinating fuel deliveries, resolving claims, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Record Keeping & Documentation:
    • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market analysis. Prepare sales contracts and other necessary documentation.
  • Customer Engagement:
    • Regularly visit both existing and potential customers to understand their needs and promote products.

Key Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in maritime, trading, business, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in sales, with a proven track record.
    • Experience in marine or trading sectors is a plus.
  • Skills & Attributes:
    • Resilient and tenacious with strong problem-solving abilities.
    • Strong numerical and analytical skills for interpreting market information and pricing products competitively.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interactions with customers and stakeholders.
    • A proactive attitude and a strong desire to seek new business opportunities with both new and existing customers.
