The Role: Junior Bunker Trader
As part of its continued growth, 24/7 Bunkers is expanding its Bunker Trading team in Athens. The Junior Bunker Trader & Operations Officer will work closely with senior traders, supporting trading, operations, and client development activities while receiving full 360-degree on-the-job training.
This full-time, office-based role provides direct exposure to bunker trading, customer negotiations, market analysis, and operational coordination in one of Europe’s key maritime hubs.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify customers, negotiate prices, and close bunker supply deals
- Understand customer requirements and align buyers with sellers
- Conduct market research, client development, and competitor analysis
- Assist senior traders with daily trading and operational tasks
- Prepare quotes, sales inquiries, order confirmations, and documentation
- Liaise with the finance department on invoicing matters
- Manage pre- and post-fixture documentation within internal systems
- Support colleagues across international offices
- Participate in client and supplier meetings and visits
- Drive sales targets and performance for assigned accounts
Candidate Profile
Professional & Technical Skills
- Prior experience in sales, B2B, telemarketing, or related fields preferred
- Strong IT literacy and comfort working with internal systems
- Fluency in Greek and English is mandatory

About the Location
