Titan and Carnival Corporation Successfully Complete First LNG Bunker Operation in Port of Kiel

Titan and Carnival Corporation achieved a significant milestone on May 6, 2023, as they concluded their inaugural LNG bunker operation in the Port of Kiel, Germany. The operation involved the Optimus, a long-term chartered LNG Bunker Vessel with a capacity of 6000, owned by Elengir, delivering LNG bunkers to the LFV, the AIDANova cruise vessel.

Thanks to the seamless execution and meticulous planning, the operation proceeded according to schedule, marking a historic moment as the first-ever LNG bunker delivery in the Port of Kiel. This accomplishment was made possible by the valuable collaboration and cooperation among all parties involved.

Titan expresses gratitude to the Port Authorities of Kiel for granting the necessary permits to facilitate LNG bunker deliveries. This successful operation is just the beginning, as Titan plans to continue delivering LNG bunkers to the AIDANova cruise vessel in the future.

The achievement owes credit to the exceptional performance of the crews from both vessels, as well as the support from SEEHAFEN KIEL GmbH & Co. KG, TB Marine Shipmanagement (Riga), and Carnival Corporation, who placed their trust in this important endeavor.
