The Port of Singapore has secured the “Best Global Seaport” title for the fifth time at the 2026 AFLAS Awards in Shanghai. Voted on by international freight and logistics professionals, the accolade highlights Singapore’s continued excellence, resilience, and leadership as a global hub port.
Singapore | June 25, 2026 – The Port of Singapore has once again cemented its status as the pinnacle of maritime excellence, securing the prestigious “Best Global Seaport” title for the fifth time at the 2026 Asian Freight, Logistics and Supply Chain (AFLAS) Awards.
The accolade was presented in Shanghai, China, on 24 June 2026, recognising Singapore’s unwavering leadership in global maritime operations, infrastructure resilience, and logistics efficiency.
Industry-Voted Recognition of Excellence
Organised annually by leading freight and logistics publication Asia Cargo News, the AFLAS Awards honour elite service providers and ports that demonstrate exceptional service quality, reliability, and continuous innovation.
Unlike editorially decided prizes, AFLAS winners are determined through rigorous nomination and voting processes by international freight forwarders, logistics companies, and corporate clients who rely directly on these supply chain networks.
Accepting the honour, Mr. Ang Wee Keong, Chief Executive of the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA), expressed gratitude to the international maritime community:
