Leading marine energy supplier Peninsula has announced a significant expansion of its physical supply network, extending its bunkering operations into the English Channel and North Sea. This strategic move enhances Peninsula’s already robust presence in Northern Europe, including key ports such as Antwerp, Rotterdam, Amsterdam (ARA Region), Skaw, and Copenhagen.
The expansion will be supported by the deployment of two specialized seagoing tankers. One of these vessels is already operational, ensuring that deliveries across the newly added service areas are both efficient and timely. This addition is particularly valuable for regions where in-port bunker facilities are limited, allowing Peninsula to provide reliable and comprehensive supply solutions.
To manage this expanded supply region, Peninsula has brought on board four highly skilled bunker traders and operators. These new team members bring extensive experience and regional knowledge, and they are already actively engaging with the market. They will leverage Peninsula’s market-leading sales and supply platform to scale up the company’s regional business operations.
This expansion underscores Peninsula’s commitment to enhancing its physical footprint and delivering customized supply solutions to its customers. By integrating the new Zeebrugge hub and the broader supply zone into its existing network, Peninsula not only extends its reach within the Northern European bunker market but also increases its capacity to offer greater flexibility and optionality to its clients.
Peninsula’s move reflects a strategic effort to meet growing demand and support its customers with a wider range of services and enhanced delivery capabilities across a key maritime region.
