Are you motivated by sales and building relations? Would you like to use these skills in an international bunker company, where you will get the chance to develop and impact the lubricant business area significantly? Then, this is the right career opportunity for you.

Job description

As our new Lubricant Trader, you will play a central role in building up Monjasa’s lubricant desk. We have made the initial work and are ready to get a Trader dedicated to this area onboard.

Your role will be split between building strong supplier relations on one side, and developing a portfolio of customers on the other side. Your main responsibilities are to stay in close contact with our suppliers to get the best prices, and to identify, open and maintain customers on their lubricant needs. Thus, it is important that you can think outside the box when looking into markets and are motivated by “fixing orders”.

There will be plenty of opportunities to travel and visit our sister offices, suppliers and customers. Thus, you will be in contact with stakeholders all over the world and get the opportunity to create valuable networks.

You will join a Trading Floor full of good tradesmanship, dynamics and not least, smile and joy. We truly value our colleagues and company culture, and we make sure to also have fun together outside trading hours.

Areas of focus

  • Develop and maintain supplier relations and a portfolio of customers
  • Ensure optimal customer satisfaction by building personal relations and providing specialist advice in lubricant solutions
  • Provide a good service and training for colleagues in sister offices and develop the relations internally
  • Investigate and develop new business opportunities

Your professional skills

  • Relevant education, most likely with a commercial focus
  • Experience with sales and/or sourcing
  • Knowledge about lubricant products is an advantage, not a must-have
  • Experienced user of Microsoft Office
  • Fluent in both written and verbal English – do not forget to mention if you speak other languages

Your personal skills

  • Pro-active work approach and motivated by developing a new business setup
  • Good at building personal relations
  • Take responsibility and a high work ethic
