Hands-on experience

You immediately contribute to the performance of the team. During the two-year period, your knowledge of our business areas will gradually develop, and you will build your hands-on experience day by day. Your rotation periods will equip you with thorough knowledge of our global set-up and build global relations with colleagues as well as business partners.

Building a solid foundation

While working at Monjasa, you will also gain further knowledge within oil & shipping as you will be enrolled in a formal two-year education as part of the Commercial Shipping Education with the Danish Shipping Academy.

In addition, the Monjasa Academy will provide you with internal Monjasa learning where you will be enrolled in a selection of courses within trading, bunkering, shipping, innovation and development of business opportunities.

A member of your team will be your personal mentor and follow you through the entire two-year programme to guide you and make sure you continuously develop and learn.

Do you have what it takes?

You typically hold a Bachelor’s Degree combined with excellent English skills. Alternative background could be a college education (for instance, HHX or Higher Commercial Examination Programme in Denmark) or similar.

Your personal qualifications and your attitude towards performance in a corporate context are just as important. You consider yourself to be forthcoming, curious and persevering, and you reflect yourself in our core values of Respect, Ambition, Curiosity and Smile & Joy.

What is the deadline for applying to the MOST programme?

We open for applications to our trainee programme in December, and the deadline is stated within each location’s job ad. This process might seem long. However, Monjasa has to take the application process for work and residence permit into account, a process that can take several months. We will make sure that all trainees are able to start up no later than August as planned.
