In his new role, Mathieu will lead Castrol’s global marine and energy business, which operate across more than 800 ports worldwide, providing services to the offshore and onshore oil, gas, and power industries. With accountability for the division’s global P&L across 80 countries, Mathieu will focus on delivering high-quality solutions tailored to meet the evolving demands of Castrol’s international marine and energy customers.

Mathieu has an exceptional career history, most recently serving as Vice President of Industrial Lubricants Europe and Global Accounts at bp/Castrol. In this role, he led a high-performing team across Europe, focusing on sales, technical services, predictive maintenance, and fluid management. As the Managing Director of Castrol Germany GmbH, Mathieu oversaw operations involving 600 employees, two manufacturing sites, and two technology centers.
With expertise in industrial technology, chemical engineering, and go-to-market strategies, Mathieu has been at the forefront of driving innovation and sustainability in the industry. His leadership experience includes delivering best-in-class technical services, developing relationships with key industrial accounts, and spearheading Industry 4.0 initiatives.
