A Strong Background in Supply Chain and Risk Management
Dimitris holds a Master of Science (MS) in International Shipping from the University of Plymouth, along with a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Accounting and Finance from Athens University of Economics and Business. His diverse background includes a variety of positions in prominent companies, where he honed his skills in supply chain management, bunkering, and risk management.
Before joining World Fuel Services, Dimitris worked as a Trader at Global Risk Management (GRM), where he focused on the APAC region, gaining valuable insights into fuel trading and market dynamics. Prior to that, he served as a Bunker Purchaser at Glander International Bunkering, playing a crucial role in fuel procurement and managing relationships with suppliers and clients. His comprehensive experience across the supply chain equips him with the tools necessary to navigate the complexities of the global bunkering market.
