The agreement, signed on February 2nd, 2024, marks a significant step in Franman’s commitment to driving technological advancements in the maritime sector.

Danelec’s recent acquisition of KYMA A.S. in December 2021 has opened new possibilities for collaboration. Franman has a long history of representing KYMA A.S., a renowned Norway-based specialist in digital ship performance monitoring, since 1993.

Specializing in maritime safety and sustainability, Danelec is a global leader in ship data management solutions aimed at enhancing efficiency and safety at sea. The company has recently expanded its expertise in vessel optimization through the acquisition of Nautilus Labs, an AI-based analytics platform.

The combined digital suite offered by Danelec provides a comprehensive solution for fleet efficiency, integrating shaft power meters, digital data capturing, and fleet performance analytics. This enables customers to gain valuable insights to optimize operations, achieve cost savings, and ensure regulatory compliance.
