We are currently recruiting for Bunker Traders to be based in our various global office locations. This role is designed to lead the day-to-day business, as well as business development and growth in marine fuels reselling.
Position: Bunker Trader
Locations: Greece, The Netherlands, UK, Singapore, USA
Bunker Trader Job Responsibilities:
- Business development by adding new customers and/or broadening activities with existing customers
- Execution of trade deals with optimized margins from the enquiry stage, negotiation, closing the deal, deal confirmation, and monitoring the deliveries
- Maintaining up-to-date information on supply prices, movements, and availabilities
- Tracking market movements, analyzing oil trends, and keeping up to date on financial news
- Communicating with management regarding developments on new or existing customers/suppliers
- Adhering to all Group’s policies, processes, procedures, systems, Employee Handbook, and relevant legislation – ensuring quality assurance and resolving queries/discrepancies
Required Education & Skills:
- Experience in customer-focused oil/bunker trading or the maritime industry is required
- Existing portfolio and/or ability to build a portfolio
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are essential
