Bunker Trader Job Description
As a Bunker Trader at Aurora Marine Fuels, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company’s growth in the marine fuels market. We are looking for a highly motivated and commercially focused individual who is a strong team player. This position is essential for developing and maintaining client relationships, managing trading operations, and ensuring the efficient procurement of bunker fuels for the Borealis Maritime/Aurora Offshore fleet.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Portfolio Development: You will be responsible for growing and managing your own client portfolio while assisting the team in maintaining and expanding existing accounts.
- Physical Trading and Broking: Engage in back-to-back physical trading and broking of marine fuel/bunkers to optimize operations and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Internal Procurement: Oversee internal bunker procurement processes for the Borealis Maritime/Aurora Offshore fleet, ensuring timely and efficient fuel supply.
- Prospect Onboarding: Identify and onboard new prospects, building relationships that will be transformed into profitable trading accounts.
- Market Engagement: Participate in day-to-day operations, including market analysis, indication reports, and attending client and supplier meetings, as well as trade events to enhance market presence.
Requirements
