Bunker Trader Job Description
The role of Bunker Trader at Arte Bunkering is a full-time, on-site position responsible for the trading of bunker fuels, including fuel oil and marine gas oil, in the Asia-Pacific region. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing existing accounts, cultivating new business opportunities, and ensuring the efficient delivery of products and services in collaboration with the Operations team.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily trading of bunker fuels in the Asia-Pacific region
- Managing existing accounts and developing new business opportunities
- Negotiating prices and contracts with clients and suppliers
- Collaborating with the Operations team to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products and services
- Monitoring market trends and developing trading strategies to optimize profitability
Qualifications
- Experience in Oil Trading and Trading Commodity Markets
- Strong knowledge of Fuel and Trading Strategies
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage existing accounts and develop new business opportunities
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field
- Experience in the maritime industry is a plus
- Language proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin) or Korean
