Bunker Trader – About the Role
Based in Dubai and reporting directly to the General Manager, you will take ownership of the full bunker trading cycle—from client acquisition and sourcing to negotiation, execution, and post-fixture operations. You’ll work closely with their international offices, contributing to Arte’s global trading strategy while maintaining a personal book of business.

Key Responsibilities
- Execute daily back-to-back bunker trading operations
- Build and manage a diverse portfolio of global clients—shipowners, charterers, operators
- Oversee the full sales and trading process, from deal origination to delivery and payment
- Collaborate with Arte’s international trading desks to maximize efficiency and client satisfaction
- Conduct market research, monitor supply chains, and anticipate pricing shifts
- Provide expert advisory to clients on competitive bunker solutions
- Support internal teams through port research, vessel tracking, and supplier coordination
- Contribute to the achievement of office KPIs and overall company goals
Your Profile
Arte Bunkering is looking for a results-driven professional with commercial acumen and a passion for the shipping and energy sectors.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in bunker trading (4–6 years preferred)
- Proven, transferable client portfolio is essential
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Shipping, Oil & Gas, or a related discipline
- High proficiency in English; other languages are a plus
- Strong knowledge of marine fuels, trading logistics, and global shipping operations
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
- Self-starter with a proactive mindset and strong team spirit
- Comfortable using CRM platforms and Microsoft Office tools
