This role is designed for professionals with experience in providing fuel solutions for bulk, tank, multi-purpose, and container customers who are ready to step into a leadership position.
About the Role
As an Aspiring Team Leader, you will be mentored and trained by experienced leaders, with a structured career development path that gradually increases responsibilities. The role is ideal for professionals eager to lead while gaining hands-on experience in sales leadership, portfolio management, and stakeholder engagement.
You will work closely with a team of three experienced Marine Fuel Suppliers, operating in collaboration with Dan-Bunkering’s Great Neck, New York office. Your focus will be on coaching and mentoring traders, managing trading activities, and driving business growth within the company’s Bulk, Tank, Multi-Purpose, and Container Customers segment.
Key Responsibilities
- Portfolio Management: Oversee and expand the customer portfolio while identifying new business opportunities.
- Sales Leadership: Guide and develop team members in sales techniques and client management.
- Negotiation & Deal Closing: Lead complex negotiations and secure profitable agreements.
- Coaching & Mentoring: Provide hands-on leadership to Fuel Suppliers, fostering skill development and high performance.
- Market Expansion: Support current trading operations while identifying growth opportunities within subsegments of the business.
- Stakeholder Management: Maintain strong relationships with clients and industry partners to deliver high-value solutions.

- Experience in bunker trading, fuel solutions, or the maritime industry.
- A goal-oriented, sales-driven mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills at a professional level in spoken and written English.
