Bunker Holding Group, a global leader in bunker trading, has announced the appointment of Peder Møller as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO), effective December 1, 2024. Møller brings with him a wealth of experience from his current role as CEO of Global Risk Management (GRM), an energy hedging company he has led since 2020.
GRM, which was established as a sister company of Bunker Holding Group in 2004, specializes in risk management services for the energy sector. The company maintains a close working relationship with Bunker Holding Group, particularly in areas of energy risk and market analysis. Under Møller’s leadership, GRM successfully navigated the turbulent energy crisis, focusing on both company and client risk management, and expanded its business into new geographical regions and business areas.
Møller’s extensive career also includes experience with the Carlsberg Group, where he developed and implemented commercial strategies across Europe and Asia. His roles at Carlsberg Denmark also involved sales responsibilities, further broadening his expertise in the commercial and strategic sectors. Møller holds a master’s degree from Copenhagen Business School and has completed both an Executive MBA from INSEAD and the Executive Leadership Program at Harvard Business School, providing him with a strong academic foundation to complement his practical experience.
In his new role as COO of Bunker Holding Group, Møller will return to the company where he previously served as Group Strategy and New Business Director from 2016 to 2020. His previous experience with Bunker Holding Group will enable him to drive further growth and innovation within the company, particularly as it continues to strengthen its position as a global leader in bunker trading, risk management, and physical operations.
