Ocean Network Express Vessel ONE Satisfaction

Singapore | December 30, 2025 – Ocean Network Express (ONE) has held a naming ceremony for the ONE Satisfaction, the latest 13,800 TEU containership in its high-specification “S” series. The ceremony took place on December 19, 2025, at the Imabari Shipbuilding yard in Japan.

The ONE Satisfaction is the sixth vessel in this specific series designed to provide the carrier with a strategic pathway toward decarbonization. While it will initially burn conventional marine fuels, its “Ready” notation indicates that the vessel’s structural design and fuel handling systems are pre-engineered for future conversion to Ammonia or Methanol propulsion.

Technical Profile

As a sister vessel to the ONE SparkleONE SapphireONE Sincerity and ONE Singapore, the ONE Satisfaction follows a blueprint of extreme energy efficiency. For maritime professionals and technical managers, the vessel’s specs highlight a significant reduction in fuel demand per TEU:

  • Capacity: 13,800 TEU with specialized high-capacity reefer plugs.
  • Propulsion: Powered by a MAN B&W 7G95ME-C10.6 main engine, renowned for its low fuel-oil consumption and adaptability to dual-fuel retrofits.
  • Environmental Tech: The vessel is equipped with a hybrid Exhaust Gas Cleaning System (EGCS) (scrubber) and Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) for NOx Tier III compliance.
  • Sea Trials: The vessel is scheduled to commence sea trials in mid-January 2026, with an expected delivery date in February 2026.
Scaling the “S” Series

The “S” series is the backbone of ONE’s mid-term fleet expansion. These 13,800 TEU vessels are designed to be “New Panamax” compliant, allowing them to transit the expanded Panama Canal while maximizing cargo intake.

Her name reflects what matters most to us, Customer Satisfaction,” ONE stated. “We remain committed to delivering reliable service quality and seamless customer experience, always striving to be Your Number ONE Shipping Partner.
