The Role: Trader — Athens, Greece
As a Trader in Monjasa’s Athens office, you will be a core driver of our commercial engine, contributing directly to global trade by facilitating bunker transactions and expanding our partner network. You’ll have the opportunity to operate with autonomy while being supported by a dynamic Mediterranean team in a modern, people-first environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Customer Portfolio Management: Build and sustain a strong portfolio of clients by offering personalized, value-added bunker solutions.
- Relationship Development: Establish and nurture trust-based relationships with both new and existing partners.
- Operations Coordination: Conduct market research, track vessel movements, and ensure timely, cost-effective fuel deliveries.
- Market Exploration: Identify new market opportunities and contribute to strategic projects in the regional and global bunker industry.
- Internal Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to align trading activities with operational execution.
Candidate Profile
Professional Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field (Business, Shipping, Trade, etc.)
- Experience in shipping, bunker trading, or sales is preferred
- Fluency in Greek and English is essential; additional languages are a plus
Personal Attributes
- Commercially driven, curious, and eager to grow
- Excellent communicator with a passion for relationship-building
- Analytical and detail-oriented with strong numerical skills
- Self-motivated, yet collaborative and team-oriented
