Armorine France Joins Greenergy

Brittany, France | October 1, 2025 – Greenergy, a leading international supplier of renewable fuels, has officially completed its acquisition of Armorine, a well-established French importer and distributor of fuels and lubricants. The transaction follows the successful receipt of final competition clearance, concluding the agreement initially announced in June 2025.

A Milestone Moment for Greenergy’s European Expansion

With the acquisition now finalized, Greenergy assumes full ownership of Armorine and all of its subsidiaries and operations. This marks a major milestone in Greenergy’s strategy to expand its presence across Europe and signals the company’s formal entry into the French energy market.

Founded in 1932, Armorine has built a strong reputation in France’s energy sector through its integrated operations, which include:

  • The import and nationwide distribution of fuels,
  • In-house lubricant manufacturing for automotive, industrial, and commercial sectors,
  • A logistics and storage network comprising oil depots and supply sites across the country.

Armorine’s established infrastructure and deep-rooted local expertise provide Greenergy with an operational springboard to directly serve French customers while enhancing its distribution capabilities throughout the region.

CEO Statement: Unlocking Future Growth

Speaking on the completion of the acquisition, Adam Traeger, CEO of Greenergy, highlighted the strategic significance of the move “As we enter the French market, this acquisition marks an important step in Greenergy’s European growth. We look forward to working with the experienced team at Armorine and combining the strengths and expertise of our businesses to build on Armorine’s success. Together, we will accelerate growth and enhance our offering in the French market.”

The integration of Armorine aligns closely with Greenergy’s focus on reliable supply chains, customer-centric service, and sustainability, particularly in the development and distribution of renewable fuels. Leveraging Greenergy’s experience in waste-based biodiesel production and international logistics, the newly combined entity aims to bring innovative energy solutions to France’s transport and industrial sectors.

Operational Continuity

As part of the integration, Armorine will continue operating under its existing name and brand identity, ensuring seamless service for its customers and continuity for its employees. Greenergy and Armorine will work collaboratively to align operational best practices, grow market share, and invest in sustainable energy infrastructure.

This acquisition not only strengthens Greenergy’s European footprint — particularly following its success in the UK, Ireland, and Canada — but also positions the company to play a larger role in France’s transition to low-emission energy solutions.
