Anemoi Marine Technologies (Anemoi), a leading provider of wind propulsion solutions for the maritime industry, has announced the appointment of Clare Urmston as the company’s new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Clare takes over from Kim Diederichsen, who is stepping down after over five years in the role.
Clare Urmston joins Anemoi with a wealth of experience gained through executive and non-executive positions in the manufacturing, healthcare, and consumer goods sectors. She first joined Anemoi in March 2020 as Chief Financial Officer and was promoted to Chief Operating Officer in May 2024, where she helped lead the company’s expansion into the Asian market.
