Chimbusco Pan Nation Completed First Biofuel Supply for Container Vessel (Boxship) in Hong Kong
Chimbusco Pan Nation Petro-chemical Co., Ltd (CPN), Hong Kong’s foremost marine fuel oil supplier, achieved a significant milestone on November 22, 2023. In a groundbreaking move, CPN successfully delivered over 2000 metric tonnes of ISCC-EU certified UCOME-based B24 marine biofuel to an A.P. Moller – Maersk container line vessel. This marks the inaugural B24 biofuel supply for container line vessels in Hong Kong, setting a new standard for environmental sustainability in the region.
This achievement solidifies CPN’s position as a leader in the Hong Kong market, showcasing its commitment to cleaner, more sustainable fuel alternatives within the maritime industry. The B24 marine biofuel, a blend of 24% B100 biodiesel and Marine Fuel Oil, is designed to significantly reduce carbon emissions, contributing to a lower overall carbon footprint. This product aligns with global initiatives to combat climate change and minimize environmental impact.
