Shanghai, China | November 7, 2025 – In a major move highlighting the evolving marine energy landscape, Chimbusco – China Marine Bunker (PetroChina) Co., Ltd. and Consort Bunkers Pte Ltd have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in Shanghai to strengthen their strategic partnership and promote the development and supply of alternative fuels for the global shipping industry.

The MoU was signed on 5 November at a ceremony attended by Qin Ling, General Manager of Chimbusco; Jiang Shi and Hu Boxing, Deputy General Managers of Chimbusco; and Yang Sujing, Director and General Manager of Consort Bunkers. Senior management representatives from both sides witnessed the signing, marking a new chapter in a relationship built on operational collaboration and trust.

The companies plan to coordinate on port-to-port logistics, bunker trading, and emerging energy technologies, creating synergies across the alternative fuels value chain.
