The Role: Marine Fuels Marketer – London
Embedded within the Global Supply & Trading organization, the Marine Fuels Marketer in London will be responsible for the commercial sales and marketing of physical bunker fuels. This role involves direct engagement with major international shipping customers, as well as crucial internal collaboration with logistics, credit, and risk teams.
As a key figure in the EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) team, the Marketer will play a strategic part in navigating the complexities of the current market, including new regulatory frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage strong, enduring relationships with international shipping clients and trading partners.
- Execute spot and term sales of marine fuels with a clear focus on maximizing commercial value.
- Monitor market trends, supply-demand dynamics, and competitor activity to inform pricing strategies.
- Represent Chevron externally in commercial negotiations and key industry forums.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure seamless alignment on logistics, credit management, risk, and compliance.
- Contribute to Chevron’s strategic growth in the marine fuels business across Europe and the Middle East.

Professional Qualifications & Experience
- A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in marine fuels, trading, or related commercial roles is required.
- Strong commercial acumen and expert knowledge of marine fuel markets, including the evolving regulatory and compliance requirements (EU ETS, FuelEU, RED III, IMO).
- A Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Business, Engineering, or a related field) is preferred.
