On February 24, 2025, Bangchak Sriracha Public Company Limited (BSRC) reached a significant milestone by delivering Thailand’s first load of B24 Marine Biofuel. The historic event took place at Laem Chabang Port, Sriracha, Chonburi, marking a pivotal step in the nation’s pursuit of sustainable energy solutions for the maritime industry. This breakthrough reinforces BSRC’s position as a global leader in sustainable marine fuels.

The delivery of 470 metric tons (MT) of B24 Marine Biofuel was made to the NYK Line’s Vessel IRIS LEADER at Laem Chabang Port. This significant step demonstrates BSRC’s commitment to offering sustainable alternatives to conventional marine fuels and plays a crucial role in the industry’s efforts to reduce carbon emissions.

Key Figures in the Delivery Event

The delivery was attended by several key figures from Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited. Among them were Mr. Chaiwat Kovavisarach, Group Chief Executive Officer and President of Bangchak Corporation; Mrs. Gloyta Nathalang, Senior Executive Vice President of Sustainability Management and Corporate Communications; and Mr. Anuwat Rungruangrattanagul, Director and Acting Chief Executive Officer of BSRC.

Also present were Mr. Koyama Kenji, Executive Officer of NYK Trading Corporation, Japan, and Mr. Takanori Kokubu, Senior Sales Manager at NYK Trading Corporation.
