This accreditation positions ABS Wavesight as one of only three maritime software providers to receive such approval under USCG NVIC 01-23 guidelines.

ABS Wavesight’s eLogs software represents a digital evolution of traditional paper logbooks, offering a comprehensive solution to address various recordkeeping challenges faced by crew members. With features encompassing over 20 logbooks, including those mandated by MARPOL regulations, eLogs aligns with standards set by the International Maritime Organization’s Marine Environmental Protection Committee, SOLAS, and the Ballast Water Management Convention. Notably, the software is also approved by the American Bureau of Shipping, further underlining its adherence to industry standards.
Throughout the approval process, ABS Wavesight collaborated closely with the United States Coast Guard to ensure compliance with all necessary criteria. The eLogs software was developed in accordance with the ISO/IEC 27001 standard, a globally recognized framework for information security management systems aimed at safeguarding data against cybersecurity threats.
